At the St Andrews Farmhouse Cheese Company we are always striving to create the very best cheese we can and winning an award for it time to time is the ‘icing on the cake’. As artisans of our craft we champion the art of traditional cheese making using unpasteurised milk from our very own Holstein Friesian cows, heritage cultures and traditional rennet.

Our St Andrews Farmhouse Cheddar has just won 2 stars in the Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Awards 2021.

Judges commented as follows;

This is a thing of beauty! We loved the buttery creaminess and the lingering tang.
A very moreish cheese, really savoury with umami depth but with an uplifting tang and slight cellar notes around the rind. The interior is quite dense, but crumbles pleasingly in the mouth. A delicious farmhouse cheddar.
